Head of Engineering - Joe Azzopardi PHD
Dr. Azzopardi has been in commercial building operations for over 28
years. His career has spanned over three decades, and has included
working for some of the largest and most prestigious landlords in New
York.
Dr. Azzopardi was an operating engineer with Olympia & York, the
premiere real estate firm that was the predecessor to Brookfield
Properties and the developer of the Canary Wharf in London. His work
included the maintenance and building operations management of 3.5
million SF of office space at 55 Water Street and 6.5 Million SF of space
at the World Financial Center. He currently works as Chief Engineer for
Mega/ICBC, one of the largest financial firms in Asia.
Dr. Azzopardi is an adjunct professor at the NYC College of Technology
teaching facility management and holds numerous copyrights for
technical papers in Refrigeration Machine Operators and is an examiner
for the NYC Fire Department Refrigerator Machine Operations.
He was a two term president of the National Association of Power
Engineers, NY1 and also served three terms as the Regional Director.
He currently serves on the advisory board of NAPE and is on the
technical sub-committee of the Best Practice Steam of the US
Department of Energy. He has organized numerous events and
programs in the fields of building management, power engineering and
HVAC engineering.
Currently, he is on the Board of Governors for (ASHRAE-NY) American
Society of Heating , Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers, Inc.
Dr. Azzopardi has numerous licenses pertaining to machine operations.
Our rates start at $400 Per hour for senior engineers and $200 Per hour
for junior engineers. Our senior engineers have PHD's in mechanical
and are licensed P.E.'s
